Drunk Florida Lawyer Arrested For Running Around Bar ‘Completely Naked’ After Being Refused Service Pinellas County Sheriff's Office

A drunk Florida lawyer stripped naked and refused to put her clothes back on after she was denied service at a St. Pete bar. Kelly Elkins, 49, went to the Beach Lounge around 2:15 a.m. on Friday morning but was said to be “intoxicated to the point the manager refused to serve her.” Needless to say, she didn’t take it too well, as The Smoking Gun reports.

  1. Elkins refused to leave the premises. Instead of leaving as she was asked to do, Elkins reportedly “walked into the restroom and then came back out into the bar unclothed and completely naked.” Elkins refused the manager’s requests to get dressed and the cops were called.
  2. She was still naked when the cops arrived. A Pinellas County Sheriff said that Elkins was still stark naked when he arrived and had to be repeatedly told to get dressed. She eventually put on a hoodie but would not zip it up. She said she was “too tired” to put on her pants.
  3. Several patrons saw what was going on. Despite the late hour, there were still other customers at the Beach Lounge at the time of Elkins’ antics and they witnessed everything. Goodness only knows what they made of the situation.
  4. Elkins was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. She was booked in the county jail and later released on her own recognizance. It’s unclear how the incident will affect Elkins, who was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001 and is also a licensed real estate broker.
