Justin Timberlake ‘Desperate’ For Advance Copy Of Britney Spears’ Memoir Before Release

Britney Spears’ “brutally honest” memoir is going to be hitting shelves soon, and that has a lot of people scared. The “Toxic” singer is said to be letting it all out and not holding back on telling the truth of what she went through and with whom. This means there will be quite a few people who are painted in a less-than-flattering light. One such person is Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears’ former boyfriend who’s said to be “desperate” to get his hands on an advance copy of the memoir before the general public.

According to Radar Online, there’s been a bit of a holdup with the autobiography as several A-list stars have expressed concern over what she says in it. This led to the release date being pushed back to the end of 2023. And while it’s unclear who exactly is freaking out so badly, Timberlake is said to be high on that list.

“Justin’s future is literally in the hands of Britney. She knows everything,” an insider told the site. The young stars were together for three years, from 1999 to 2002. “Justin is apologetic and trying to get hold of the manuscript before anyone else does. He has a PR war room set up, but they can’t do anything until they read what she has to say.”

The US Sun admitted that Simon & Schuster, the publishing house behind the Britney Spears memoir, is feeling the pressure not just from Justin Timberlake but from plenty of other celebs who don’t want to be tarred with a bad brush.

“There are a lot of nervous A-listers,” a source told the publication. “Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney.”

However, Radar Online’s insider says there’s a slim chance of Timberlake getting a hold of an advance copy of the book since it’s being shrouded in secrecy. “There’s no way Justin’s going to get an advance copy — unless Britney sends him one.”

I wouldn’t hold his breath for that.
