Man With Cheese Addiction Has Spent $78,000 And Eats 2 Blocks Of Cheddar A Day

A British man who’s “addicted” to cheese has reportedly spent more than $78,000 on the diary product and eats two full blocks of cheddar a day. Mark King’s love of cheese is regularly documented on TikTok by his wife Tracey, who films him buying cheese at the store, eating blocks of it as a meal at home, and even walking around with his own personal supply.

According to Tracey, one of Mark’s favorite meals is a 400g block of cheese between two slices of bread, which he often eats twice a day. She estimates they spend about $3,100 a year on cheddar alone, but the “Cheese King” isn’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon.

While you might expect that a 54-year-old man who eats multiple blocks of high-fat cheese a day is one step away from a heart attack, Mark King is apparently super healthy. He works as a logger at a timber yard by day, and his very physical job combined with his body being used to digesting that much cheese is what doctors believe is behind his solid physique. Given that science says eating cheese can help you live longer (albeit in moderation), there may be something to it…

Mark loves cheese so much that he has to have it incorporated into every meal of the day. When he’s not eating a solid block of the stuff on bread, he likes putting cheese on any food imaginable. However, he doesn’t like macaroni and cheese, oddly enough.

Like most things on the internet, it’s somewhat impossible to tell if Mark King’s cheese “addiction” is being played up for TikTok views or not. After all, Tracey has more than 214,000 followers on her account, largely because of her regular updates on her husband’s reported intake of cheddar. Sure, the guy enjoys cheese, but could he possibly be eating so much of it, or is it all for the lolz? We’ll probably never find out, but let’s hope for Mark’s arteries’ sake that it’s all a bit of fun.
