Naked Cleaning Company Says Business Is Booming Thanks To Lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic and measures put in place to stop the spread of the disease has left many businesses in dire straits. However, the opposite has been true for the Naked Cleaning Company. In fact, the owner says that demand for scantily clad and/or entirely nude cleaners has gone through the roof since lockdown and business has never been better.

  1. Owner Nikki Belton only launched The Naked Cleaning Company earlier this year. However, she was stopped in her tracks when coronavirus hit and rules were put in place in her native UK which prohibited mixing with anyone from outside your own home. Now that some restrictions have been lifted, she’s been able to get back to work.
  2. The Naked Cleaning Company offers all kinds of services. The cleaners will vacuum your house, clean your kitchen and bathroom, dust, and wipe down dirty surfaces while wearing lingerie or nothing at all.
  3. As you can imagine, it’s not exactly cheap. If you want your cleaner to simply tidy up while topless, that’ll run you £75 ($95). However, if you want the cleaner to go fully naked, you’re looking at £95 ($121) per hour. You’d better hope your house isn’t too filthy or it could get pretty costly!
  4. Nevertheless, there’s a high demand for Nikki’s services. “I think our job is now more important than ever given the current situation and business has been very good, the demand for a naked cleaner has soared,” she explained. “Everybody’s been struggling throughout the lockdown and we hope to help clean away coronavirus, one naked cleaner at a time.”
  5. If it makes people happy, why not? Nikki said she’s all about service with a smile and while she takes her job as a cleaner seriously, she doesn’t see why she can’t have fun with it too. “We’re here to provide a smile and also help clean people’s homes because at the end of the day, we’re professional cleaners who are there to do a job,” the 34-year-old said. “It’s nice for people to have a bit of a quirky service like this after all we’ve been through in the past few months. Being at home in lockdown, I felt it was mentally draining and awful so I can understand how others might feel. Naked cleaning is bringing back happiness, fun and a sense of well-being after lockdown.”
  6. Don’t worry, the service is entirely secure. Before you’re able to book with the Naked Cleaning Company, clients have to undergo an identity and background check to assure the cleaner’s safety. Not only that, but with coronavirus still rife, Nikki makes sure she and her cleaners go the extra mile to be super hygienic. “When lockdown happened, we had to stop cleaning for a while but have recently started taking on jobs again with our new measures,” she said. “The cleaning industry went back straight away and [cleaners] were allowed in people’s homes, as long as the cleaner had a mask on and were keeping their distance.”
