Woman’s Seemingly Innocent Photo Of Supermarket Product Goes Viral

A woman shared a snap from her local supermarket shelf to ask others whether the product, Beyond’s vegan sausage, was worth trying. She got plenty of responses when the photo went viral, but not for the reasons she might have hoped. How could she have missed a blatant, rather suggestive detail?!

  1. The Australian woman just wanted some opinions. Beyond is a great brand – I’ve tried it myself many times – but it’s also not the cheapest thing on the planet and I imagine that’s even more the case in Australia, where groceries tend to be much more expensive. It makes sense that the woman wanted to makes sure she was spending her cash wisely, after all!
  2. The package got a little… squished. Commenters were roaring with laughter when they realized that the sausages had been squashed so much, they resembled a certain male body part more than actual, edible food. “They’re willy nice,” one person joked. Another added, “So you’re telling me I could have gone to the supermarket instead of getting with my ex?”
  3. Yes, it’s silly and immature, but it’s also really hilarious. Is it dumb to remark on squished sausages looking like a dude’s junk? Yes. Do we need more stupidity in 2020, a little more levity to lighten the mood? Obviously. I’m here for whatever silly, ridiculous, lighthearted, unproblematic thing the internet wants to throw my way, so I’m super into this.
  4. It’s unclear whether or not the woman actually bought them. They are really delicious, so I would totally recommend them, taste-wise. She might have to give them a yank and pull to get them back in shape (lol), but they are really yummy. However, we’ll never know the fate of this particular package (lol again) and we can only imagine how this turned out. Oh well!
